I wanted to build strength and feel better about my overall health. I hired Nic to show me the ropes on 6 major movements (Bench, Deadlift, Squat, Pull Up, Row, and Overhead Press). He not only taught me how to do each safely, but gave me awesome coaching in the process. I've been able to increase the weight I started with by 100lbs and feel awesome about my progress. I also can't say enough about how much Nic cares about you as a client, and how knowledgeable he is about fitness. This guy is a walking encyclopedia!

I have been training with Nic for over 5 years and the entire experience has been top notch. When we first started he stressed form over increasing weight. He made sure that proper form was in place to help avoid potential injuries. It was because of this focus on form, that in my 3rd year of training with him I was able to attain a deadlift PR at 505lbs. His nutritional knowledge has helped me become more informed and aware of the food that I put in my body. I have been able to drop 40lbs, and at the same time add muscle mass and become more toned. Working out is great, but coupled with nutrition, results are more attainable. Nic is a very personable guy, and very open to modifying your workout around personal goals and injuries. He takes the time to listen and provides feedback and positive encouragement. Thanks Nic!

I trained with Nic for three years. I had initially just searched for a trainer so I would stay regular with workouts, but really enjoyed my sharp gain in stability and strength working with Nic. He was very adaptable to my changing aims in other sports and recreation, but I especially benefitted from his willingness to find exercises that were effective for me individually, i.e. to sometimes, but always safely, go off-book. Nic is personable, professional, and completely nonjudgemental. Working with him, you'll not only gain knowledge of how best to condition for your goals, but also of which (sometimes popular) equipment and exercises to avoid. As a younger female-bodied person who was training at a busy gym, I'd also like to mention that Nic was fantastic about ensuring my social comfort, including offering to talk to staff and change my training schedule when it seemed relevant. Even if it's not very frequent, it's worth it to meet with a trainer so they can keep an eye on your form and progress. When I initially searched for trainers in my area, what led me to Nic was a vague idea of monetary value. Training with him was worth every penny, and given the opportunity again, I'd book with him in a heartbeat. My sole benefit in writing this review is that I get to brag about what a great trainer I had, and I'm sure Nic's other happy clients would say the same. It's less fun to go alone. Take Nic!

Nic is a great trainer! He provides the right techniques to your individual requirements based on how you are feeling that particular day and really performs the right postures keeping you doing the right workout. If there is a stretch that doesn’t perform like it should, he has other techniques to perform for a better stretch and has a vast knowledge of the individual parts and muscles of the body. I certainly recommend Nic for your personal training exercises.

Nic is a great trainer. He has a positive attitude and is very motivational. He really listens to what you'd like to focus on and he adapts very quickly to any sort of injury you may have or even if you are having a tough day. You will always feel better after your workout. He pays keen attention and is all about teaching correct form. For many exercises this really is a game changer. You would be much more prone to injury if you are not focusing on form. Nic also has great knowledge of anatomy and he really leverages this knowledge when he creates the workout plans. Highly recommend!!
